BUZZ-PREVIEW: Caterpillar revenue seen climbing in Q4

** Caterpillar CAT.N shares up 0.5% to $642.26 ahead of Q4 results due before the opening bell on Thursday

** Q4 revenue seen rising 10% yr/yr to $17.86 billion and adj EPS of $4.68 expected, per LSEG data, vs yr-ago EPS of $5.14

** CAT has met or beaten EPS estimates in five of past eight qtrs, with most recent miss in Q2 2025

** Of the 29 analysts covering CAT, the breakdown of recommendations is 15 "strong buy" or "buy," 12 "hold" and 2 "sell" ratings

** Median price target of $623.27 is up from $596.21 a month ago - LSEG
