索尼音乐集团和新加坡主权财富基金GIC Pte将组建一家合资企业来收购音乐版权，计划在该项目上投资20亿至30亿美元。
双方周四表示，作为全球最大唱片公司之一的索尼集团株式会社音乐部门将负责管理收购的音乐版权库，包括向流媒体服务分销音乐作品以及授权老歌用于电影和广告。GIC将提供资金和投资专业知识。
双方合资企业将为这家日本娱乐公司提供资金，用于扩充其歌曲库。有了这项合作，全球三大音乐公司都与投资方建立了合作关系，从而在无需自行承担全部资金的情况下，获得更多歌曲版权。
此前环球音乐集团2024年初和Dundee Partners宣布了类似交易，华纳音乐集团去年和贝恩资本建立了合作关系。
