Rex International's Unit Secures Jack-Up Drilling Contract in Oman

Rex International's (SGX:5WH) Rex Oman, secured a contract for the Energy Emerger jack-up drilling rig to perform drilling of three wells in Oman, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.

Shares of the oil and gas exploration company were down nearly 2% in Friday trading.

The drilling rig will be operated by Northern Offshore Drilling Operations, while Masirah Oil will perform drilling of three development wells in the offshore Yumna Field in Block 50, Oman.

The drilling operation is expected to commence in March, the filing added.
