消息面上，1月30日，中国东方航空股份发布公告，按中国企业会计准则，预计2025年度利润总额约为人民币2亿元至3亿元，预计2025年度归属于上市公司股东的净亏损约为人民币13亿元至18亿元，预计2025年度归属于上市公司股东的扣除非经常性损益的净亏损约为人民币27亿元至33亿元。 2025年，公司全年完成运输总周转量279.81亿吨公里，旅客运输量近1.50亿人次，分别同比增长10.82%和6.68%，利润总额预计为人民币2亿元至3亿元，实现扭亏为盈。
申万宏源认为，东方航空国际航线恢复情况领先且恢复率超2019年，主基地上海出入境需求增长强劲，将充分受益于国际线需求增长;当前行业部分搭载普惠发动机的飞机需要停场维修，公司机队未搭载PW1100发动机，避免了飞机停场造成的效率下降和成本上升；当前公司经营情况实质性改善，叠加外部因素油汇双向改善，看好公司未来发展。
