ChainCatcher 消息，据 Decrypt 报道，加密交易所 Coinbase 已向澳大利亚议会提交正式投诉，指责该国四大银行（联邦银行、西太平洋银行、澳新银行和国民银行）系统性地拒绝为合法加密公司提供金融服务，并称这种做法已演变为“系统性特征”；鉴于四大银行控制了多数交易账户和支付渠道，这种账户清退实际上构成了“非法的监管禁令”，将合法行业排除在正规经济之外。
投诉引用数据称，2021 年高达 60% 的金融科技企业曾遭遇银行拒服，而该问题至今尚未解决。Coinbase 呼吁立法者强制银行落实五项透明度措施，包括要求银行记录并告知客户账户关闭原因、确保受影响客户能诉诸内部争议解决程序、在关闭核心服务前至少提前 30 天通知，并进行自我合规认证。这些措施由澳大利亚金融监管委员会于 2022 年提出，但至今未立法实施。
