True North Copper to Progress Queensland Copper Project Prefeasibility Study Through 2026, Shares Fall 6%

True North Copper (ASX:TNC) said it appointed Matt Varvari as general manager, operations, who will support the delivery of the Queensland-based Cloncurry copper project prefeasibility study through 2026, according to a Tuesday Australian bourse filing.

Varvari is also expected to contribute to early concept-level development studies at the Mt Oxide project, also in Queensland, supporting assessment of staged development pathways. He will also assist in evaluating value-realization opportunities across the broader portfolio, including Salebury and the Wynberg gold system.

The firm's shares fell 6% in recent trading on Tuesday.
