0953 ET - Chipotle Mexican Grill's guidance for flat same-store sales in 2026 is a conservative outlook that likely doesn't take into account incremental limited time offers or other initiatives, Oppenheimer analysts write in a note. That guidance might disappoint investors in the near-term, but creates a good setup for the restaurant chain going into the new year, the analysts write, adding that they see a path to outperformance as same-store sales begin to rise. "We believe the building blocks are in place for CMG to blossom into a beat-and-raise candidate for '26E at an intriguing valuation," the analysts write.(elias.schisgall@wsj.com)
