Ore Resources (ASX:OR3) said results from surface geochemical soil sampling conducted at the Miriam project in Western Australia identified a broad 2-kilometer gold-in-soils anomaly, coincident with the Forrest, Forrest South, Forrest North, and Burbanks Monarch prospects, according to a Wednesday Australian bourse filing.

The results support Forrest North and Burbanks Monarch as high-priority targets for further testing, the filing said. Seven refined gold anomalies of over 50 parts-per-billion have been defined within the broader anomalous corridor.

The company completed close-spaced ground gravity surveying over the Forrest, Burbanks Monarch, and Goroke prospects, the filing added.

Ore Resources' shares jumped past 1% in recent trading on Wednesday.
