Brazilian Rare Earths Hits High Grades at Bahia Project; Shares Up 6%

Brazilian Rare Earths (ASX:BRE) said its Monte Alto project in Bahia, Brazil achieved rare earth grades doubling to around 27% TREO (total rare earth oxides), with yields of over 95%, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
A multi-sensor ore sorting test at the mine indicated cumulative recoveries of around 96% to 99% after rejecting close to 25% of waste with minimal metal loss, per the filing.
Shares rose nearly 6% in recent Wednesday trade.
