1837 ET [Dow Jones]--Take-Two Interactive Software Chief Executive Strauss Zelnick says he's "a little confused" by investors' reaction to Google Genie. After Google launched Genie, which lets customers use AI to make video games, shares of video-game companies took a beating. Zelnick says he has been enthusiastic about AI as an opportunity for the company and Take-Two is actively embracing generative AI. "The history of the interactive entertainment business has been one of great creators using technology to do amazing things to please audiences," Zelnick says on a call with analysts. "That remains unchanged, except perhaps accelerated." (katherine.hamilton@wsj.com)
