Black Cat Syndicate (ASX:BC8) completed the acquisition of tenements near the Lakewood processing facility, part of the company's Kalgoorlie East Gold project in Western Australia, according to a Wednesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The acquired ground is to be used for additional tailings storage facilities, the filing said.
An expansion study at Lakewood is well underway with outcomes expected in the March quarter, the filing added.
