新浪科技讯 2月2日下午消息，新东方创始人俞敏洪在社交平台发文官宣陈行甲正式来新东方报道，并配文“陈行甲老师来新东方报道啦”。
此前，俞敏洪发布通告称：新东方教育科技集团，聘请陈行甲老师，为新东方教育、东方甄选、新东方文旅总顾问，年薪150万人民币。
通告还表示，“同时，俞敏洪老师加入陈行甲老师的恒晖公益基金会，一起为中国青少年的健康和成长而努力！新东方教育科技集团每年为恒晖基金会捐献不少于100万人民币的善款！为了美好的人间，我们一起努力！”
据公开报道，陈行甲生于1971年，从偏远穷困的山村考入大学。1992年，其被分配进入了兴山县燃化局工作，开启了从政生涯。到2001年，已任兴山县水月寺镇镇长的陈行甲，考入清华大学首届公共管理硕士班。硕士毕业后，他回到湖北基层，历任兴山县委常委、宜昌市政府副秘书长、宜都市市长等职，于2011年10月调任至深度贫困县巴东，担任县委书记。2015年，陈行甲被评为“全国优秀县委书记”。2016年底，陈行甲在任职届满被提拔之后辞去公职，于次年创立了公益组织深圳市（恒辉）儿童公益基金会，重点关注儿童大病救助和教育关怀。
