Strike Energy (ASX:STX) said that it expects its South Erregulla Power project to be awarded its full capacity of 85 megawatts by the Western Australian Economic Regulation Authority (ERA) for the capacity year of 2028 and 2029, according to a Tuesday filing with the Australian bourse.
The company said it expects the capacity price for the year to remain stable, and to depend on the final benchmark reserve capacity price to be determined by the ERA in March and the demand balance to be determined in November.
In its draft determination, ERA proposed a benchmark price of AU$491,700 per megawatt per year, up about 36% from the current benchmark of AU$360,700.
The project remains on track for completion on Oct. 1, the filing added.
