UPL Posts Lower Consolidated Profit in Fiscal Q3; Shares Up 5%

UPL (NSE:UPL, BOM:512070) posted a decline in its consolidated attributable profit to 3.96 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal third quarter from 8.28 billion rupees a year ago, according to an Indian bourse filing on Monday.
Shares of the agrochemicals company were up over 5% in Tuesday's trade.
Earnings per share in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, dropped to 4.69 rupees from 9.70 rupees in the corresponding period last year.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q3 increased to 122.7 billion rupees from 109.1 billion rupees a year earlier.
