West African Resources (ASX:WAF) said Morgan Stanley and its subsidiaries became a substantial shareholder in the company on Jan. 28, as they now hold 5.7% stake in the company, or about 65.1 million shares, according to a Monday Australian bourse filing.
The company's shares were down 4% on market close.
