3M Raises Dividend by 6.8%

3M raised its quarterly dividend by 6.8%, to 78 cents a share, from 73 cents a share.

The new payout, equal to $3.12 a year, represents an annual yield of about 2% based on Tuesday's closing price of $155.68.

The dividend is payable on March 12 to stockholders of record on Feb. 13, the company said.
