ChainCatcher 消息，作为金砖国家轮值主席国，印度央行已正式提议推动建立一套“金砖数字货币互联”体系，拟利用区块链技术构建可绕开美元、直接联通金砖各国支付系统的跨境结算网络。
该方案并非发行全新的“金砖币”，而更接近一个可落地的互联平台/结算桥梁，可能基于许可制区块链（联盟链）架构，由各国央行共同作为验证节点维护分布式账本，在兼顾主权控制的同时提升跨境结算效率与透明度。
