Natural Gas Prices Fall as Weather Forecasts Turn Warmer -- Market Talk

0944 ET - Natural gas futures fall as the Arctic blast that led them to a three-year high last week ebbs. "Retreating spot demand, rebounding production, and a warming forecast offer a clear 'sightline' to the end of winter," EBW Analytics says in a note. It adds that storage deficits are still expected to rise and reach triple digits in coming weeks. "Key technical support sits at $3.53/MMBtu," EBW says. Nymex gas for March delivery falls nearly 19% to $3.538/mmBtu. (paulo.trevisani@wsj.com; @ptrevisani)
