FuboTV Shares Sink Following 1Q Loss

Shares of FuboTV fell after the company posted a loss in its fiscal first quarter.

The stock declined 14%, to $1.95, in premarket trading Tuesday. Through Monday's close, shares have lost about half of their value over the past year.

The TV subscription company before the bell posted a loss of $19.1 million, or 2 cents a share, on an as-reported basis. On a pro forma basis, which gives effect to Fubo's combination with Disney's Hulu + Live TV business, the company notched a loss of $46.4 million.

Revenue jumped 40% to $1.55 billion on an as-reported basis. On a pro forma basis, revenue climbed 6% to $1.68 billion.
