据知情人士透露，华特迪士尼公司董事会已就提拔主题乐园部门主席 Josh D‘Amaro出任首席执行官达成一致，将于下周就新任掌门人任命事宜进行投票。54 岁的 Josh D’Amaro自 2020 年起执掌迪士尼核心盈利的乐园业务部门。若此次任命获批，他将接替鲍勃・艾格成为迪士尼新任 CEO；艾格曾在 2005 至 2020 年担任这一全球最大娱乐企业的首席执行官，并于 2022 年再度回归执掌公司。目前董事会仍存在改弦更张的可能。迪士尼发言人在邮件声明中表示：“董事会尚未选定华特迪士尼公司的下一任首席执行官，相关决定一经作出，我们将即刻发布公告。”此次任命也将为迪士尼历时三年的 CEO 遴选画上句号，该遴选工作自 2024 年起由迪士尼董事会主席詹姆斯・戈尔曼牵头推进。据知情人士透露，迪士尼CEO艾格已告知身边的人，他计划在12月31日合同到期前辞去CEO一职，并且不再参与日常管理。
