韩国半导体出口增长加速，促使花旗集团将该国2026年和2027年的GDP增长预测分别上调0.2个百分点，至2.4%和2.0%。花旗经济学家Jin-Wook Kim预计，在全球人工智能资本支出周期的推动下，韩国芯片出口在2025年预计增长22%之后，2026年将激增约85%。他表示，在稳健的半导体出口和疲软能源价格的支撑下，该国经常账户盈余应会保持强劲直至2026年底。他维持其预测，认为韩国央行将在2026-2027年把政策利率维持在2.50%不变。
