Rail Vikas Nigam (NSE:RVNL, BOM:542649) consolidated profit attributable to the owners increased to 3.23 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal third quarter from 3.11 billion rupees a year ago, according to an Indian bourse filing on Thursday.
Shares of the railway company fell nearly 2% in Friday's trade.
Earnings per share in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, climbed to 1.55 rupees from 1.49 rupees a year earlier.
Revenue from operations in fiscal Q3 increased year on year to 46.8 billion rupees from 45.7 billion rupees, the filing said.
The company's board declared an interim dividend of 1 rupee per share for the financial year 2025-26, payable by March 6 to shareholders of record on Feb. 11.
