Tata Steel's Consolidated Profit Jumps in Fiscal Q3; EPS, Revenue Miss Estimates

Tata Steel (NSE:TATASTEEL, BOM:500470) witnessed a sharp increase in its consolidated attributable profit to 26.9 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal third quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, against 3.27 billion rupees a year ago.

Earnings per share jumped to 2.16 rupees compared with 0.26 rupees a year earlier, according to a Friday filing with the Indian stock exchanges by the steel manufacturer. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha expected EPS of 2.47 rupees.

Revenue from operations in fiscal Q3 also increased to 570.0 billion rupees from 536.5 billion rupees a year earlier. Analysts polled by Visible Alpha estimated 589.2 billion rupees.
