印度央行行长Sanjay Malhotra在周五的政策会议后新闻发布会上表示，印度没有在出售其持有的美国国债。

　　Malhotra说：“我们的外汇储备曾经有所下降，因此”所有持仓都会发生变化。他表示：“这些都是我们对外公布的按天或按周波动，但并没有缩减我们的美国国债持仓。”

　　根据1月份美国政府公布的数据，由于印度央行支撑走弱的卢比，截至11月份，印度持有的美国长期债券已降至1，740亿美元的五年来低点，较2023年峰值下降26%。

　　在10月份，印度央行承诺支撑本币，以遏制投机性攻击。彭博汇编的数据显示，印度外汇储备当月减少105亿美元。下降在11月份延续，外汇储备进一步降至6，862亿美元，随后在上周升至7，238亿美元的创纪录高位。
