IT之家 2 月 5 日消息，消息源 NateTheHate 昨日（2 月 4 日）透露，Square Enix（SE）计划调整《最终幻想 7》重制版第三部的发行策略，采取“全平台首发”。
IT之家援引消息源透露，作为三部曲的收官之作，《最终幻想 7》重制版第三部将放弃传统的“PlayStation 限时独占”模式，转而采取“首发即登陆全平台”的策略。这意味着，PC 玩家及其他平台用户无需再经历漫长的等待期，极有可能在游戏发售首日就能同步体验。
NateTheHate 进一步预测，SE 为第三部造势，计划于 2026 年夏季（约 6 月）在任天堂新一代主机 Switch 2 上发行《最终幻想 7 重生》（Rebirth）游戏。
他透露，SE 为配合 Geoff Keighley 主办的“夏日游戏节”（Summer Game Fest），会在该时间点上线 Switch 2 版《最终幻想 7 重生》（Rebirth）游戏，将系列热度推至顶峰，顺势在夏日游戏节上正式公布第三部的发售日及首支预告。
