IBM (IBM) said Thursday it was chosen to support the Scalable Homeland Innovative Enterprise Layered Defense, or SHIELD, program of the US Department of Defense's Missile Defense Agency.
The contract is for a wide range of work to deliver defense capabilities to SHIELD, which is an indefinite-delivery/indefinite-quantity contract valued at up to $151 billion, the company said.
