Sony's (TYO:6758) net income attributable to owners of the parent rose 12% to 947.8 billion yen in the nine months ended Dec. 31, 2025, from 843 billion yen a year earlier.
The entertainment company's earnings per share increased to 157.23 yen from 138.66 yen a year ago, according to a Tokyo bourse filing on Thursday.
Sales rose 2.3% to 9.443 trillion yen from 9.230 trillion yen in the year-ago period.
For the fiscal year ending March 31, the company expects attributable net income of 1.130 trillion yen and sales of 12.3 trillion yen.
Sony plans to pay a year-end dividend of 12.50 yen per share for the fiscal year.
