SIA Engineering's Joint Venture to Sign Talent Development MoUs

SIA Engineering's (SGX:S59) 50%-owned joint venture, Singapore Aero Engine Services, will sign two talent development MoUs at the Singapore Airshow 2026, according to a Thursday filing with the Singapore Exchange.
The partnerships with Singapore Economic Development Board and Singapore Polytechnic are part of the JV's SG$242 million expansion plan to modernize its facilities, aimed at meeting global engineer maintenance, repair and overhaul (MRO) demands.
The agreement will include the establishment of a dedicated SAESL training academy and hiring and training of more than 1000 technicians in five years to cater to the MRO industry.
