Calfrac Well Services has appointed Tyler Dahlseide to lead the company as its new chief executive, effective immediately.
Dahlseide joined the oilfield services company in September of last year as vice president of optimization and strategy. He brought with him a wealth of experience, most recently as president of Ferus, a private-equity sponsored industrial gas business with operations in both Canada and the U.S., the company said.
Dahlseide has also served as chairman at Enserva, the national trade association that represents Canada's petroleum services, supply and manufacturing sectors between the years 2023 to 2025.
The company has been without a permanent CEO since mid-March, when Pat Powell, resigned after three years in the role.
