Altair Minerals (ASX:ALR) said the processing of historic induced polarization and resistivity geophysics surveys conducted by TRX Consulting across the North Peters deposit, part of the Greater Oko gold project in Guyana, showed robust, untested anomalies, according to a Thursday Australian bourse filing.

The geophysical data also delineated a resistivity corridor around 2.7 kilometers in strike extent, of which only around 600 meters has been drill tested to date. A second, weaker chargeability target has only been partially tested on its margins by four drill holes.

It is on track to begin drilling at North Peters in the first quarter.
