ChainCatcher 消息，华尔街衍生品巨头 CME Group 首席执行官 Terry Duffy 表示，公司正在研究推出自有加密代币的可能性。Terry Duffy 在最新一次财报电话会议中回应分析师提问时称，CME 正在评估多种形式的保证金与抵押方案，包括代币化现金，以及 “可能在去中心化网络上推出、供行业参与者使用的自有代币”。
他指出，相较于中小型金融机构发行的代币，若代币来自系统重要性金融机构，在作为保证金或结算工具时会更令人安心。
据悉，CME 目前已与 Google 合作推进一项代币化现金方案，计划于今年晚些时候推出，并通过存管银行完成相关交易。此次提及的 “自有代币” 被视为另一项独立探索，具体是否为稳定币或结算型代币尚未明确，CME 方面亦未作进一步说明。
若该计划最终落地，这将是 CME 首次明确提出在去中心化网络上发行自有资产。此前，传统金融机构中，JPMorgan 已通过 JPM Coin 推出代币化存款方案。CME 同时表示，其加密衍生品业务仍在扩展中，计划于今年第二季度实现加密期货 7×24 小时交易。
