US House lawmakers vow to address 2025 fatal mid-air collision
WASHINGTON, Feb 6 (Reuters) - A bipartisan group of U.S. House lawmakers said they plan to introduce legislation to address a series of safety recommendations after a January 2025 mid-air collision between an American Airlines AAL.O passenger jet and Army helicopter killed 67.
The top Republicans and Democrats on the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee and the Armed Services Committee said in a joint statement they are working "expeditiously on legislation to ensure a crash like this can never happen again."
