ChainCatcher 消息，据 The Block 报道，两名美国加利福尼亚州高中生涉嫌驱车 600 多英里前往亚利桑那州实施暴力入室抢劫而被控重罪，其目标是一个他们认为持有价值 6600 万美元加密货币的家庭。
两名嫌犯仅 16 岁和 17 岁，于 1 月 31 日上午身穿联邦快递制服来到斯科茨代尔甜水牧场社区的一户人家，强行闯入后用胶带捆绑了两名成年人并进行殴打，目的是索要加密货币。受害者否认持有任何加密资产，随后导致了进一步的暴力冲突。
警方赶到现场时发现一名女子正在尖叫，一名男子正在与其中一名嫌疑人搏斗。两名青少年疑犯驾驶一辆蓝色斯巴鲁逃离现场，不久后在一条死胡同被警方抓获。疑犯面临包括绑架和严重袭击在内的八项指控。
针对加密资产持有者的实体“扳手攻击”事件正在上升，2025 年全年报告约 60 起，远高于有统计的 2024 年约 41 起和 2021 年的 36 起。
