IT之家 2 月 6 日消息，Noctua 猫头鹰当地时间昨日宣布，自 2006 年提供适用于 AMD AM2 插槽的散热器安装升级套件以来，该企业已在 20 年间发货了 50 万套升级套件，让数十万件散热器能在新平台上“发挥余冷”而不是被丢弃浪费。
Noctua 表示，其二十年前作出的提供免费升级套件决定在当时的 PC 散热行业是前所未有的，这源于其确保优质产品能够经久耐用的理念。而为了持续践行这一承诺，Noctua 在多代产品间保持了相同的孔位间距等机械参数，实现了扣具的持续可升级。

Noctua 二十年前的首批散热器安装升级套件不仅支持了 AM2 平台，还兼容 AM2+、AM3、AM3+；而 2009 年的英特尔 LGA1156 套件则服务于整个 115X 时代；在 2011 年推出的 LGA2011 套件也支持后续的 LGA2066；2017 年的 AMD AM4 套件在当前的 AM5 时期也在发光发热；2021 年的 LGA1700 套件亦兼容 LGA1851（乃至 LGA1954）。
