DPM Metals (ASX:DPM) said that an updated mineral reserve estimate extended the life of the Chelopech mine in Bulgaria by 10 years to 2036, according to a Friday filing with the Australian bourse.
The mine's proven and probable mineral reserves increased by 6.9 million tonnes of ore, with contained gold increasing by 174,000 ounces and contained copper increasing by 28 million pounds, from its earlier estimate in May 2024, the filing said.
It will have sustained average production levels of about 160,000 gold equivalent ounces per year, the filing said.
