Hindustan Copper Posts Sharp Increase in Fiscal Q3 Consolidated Profit; Shares Down 4%

Hindustan Copper's (NSE:HINDCOPPER, BOM:513599) consolidated attributable profit jumped to 1.56 billion Indian rupees in the fiscal third quarter from 628.7 million rupees a year ago, according to a Thursday filing to the Indian stock exchanges by the copper manufacturer.

Shares of the company fell over 4% in Friday's trade.

Earnings per share in the quarter ended Dec. 31, 2025, climbed to 1.62 rupees from 0.65 rupees a year earlier.

Revenue from operations in fiscal Q3 also increased to 6.87 billion rupees from 3.28 rupees a year ago.

The company's board declared an interim dividend of 1 rupee per share for the fiscal year ending March 31, payable by March 6 to shareholders of record on Feb. 13.
