智通财经APP获悉，据媒体报道，新加坡政府投资公司(GIC)、淡马锡控股(Temasek)正在将与对冲基金的合作方式进行重大调整，这可能影响到数以十亿美元计的资金配置。知情人士透露，GIC正对外部管理人部门进行重组，更换长期负责人、并增聘人手；淡马锡则开始接触更广泛的对冲基金群体，以寻找潜在投资机会。
GIC一直是全球对冲基金领域的重要资金来源，淡马锡过去较少直接通过外部管理人进行投资，而是更倾向通过旗下机构(如星伟诺Seviora、投资公司如Avanda投资管理公司)来部署资金。GIC目前没有披露其资产管理规模，但据主权财富基金研究平台Global SWF估计，其规模约9,360亿美元(截至2025年3月)，其中的约1.5%配置于对冲基金。
另一方面，淡马锡可能会增加通过对冲基金进行的外部投资金额。知情人士称，淡马锡高管近来正与全球多家对冲基金接触。淡马锡去年投资了约10家对冲基金，包括由亿万富豪Ken Griffin创立的Citadel。淡马锡，计划自4月起将对冲基金配置统一纳入新成立的淡马锡合作投资解决方案。截至2025年3月，约23%的淡马锡净投资组合由外部合作伙伴和基金管理人管理。
