Parkway Life REIT Likely Planning Initiatives, Assessing Potential Acquisition -- Market Talk

0438 GMT - Parkway Life REIT is evaluating asset-enhancement initiatives for its Gleneagles Hospital and Parkway East Hospital, UOB Kay Hian's Jonathan Koh says in a research report. These initiatives are aimed at modernizing and reconfiguring internal layouts and improving workflow and operating efficiency, with work on one of the hospitals possibly starting in 2027, the analyst says. The REIT is also assessing the potential acquisition of an ambulatory center in Singapore that focuses on day surgeries, Koh adds. The brokerage slightly raises the target price to S$5.45 from S$5.42, with its buy rating unchanged. Units are 0.25% higher at S$4.09. (ronnie.harui@wsj.com)
