Hub Group shares slipped in premarket trading Friday after the company issued preliminary results showing a revenue decline, releasing the partial update in place of a full report due to delays.

Shares fell 30% ahead of the morning bell to $35.99.

The transportation and logistics company said it is delaying its fourth quarter and full year results after finding an accounting error that caused it to understate certain transportation costs and accounts payable during the first nine months of 2025.

It said that the total amount of the reduction to accounts payable and purchased transportation costs related to the issue is $77 million, and estimates the correction will increase purchased transportation and warehousing costs for the nine-month period.

Hub Group noted that it can't yet estimate what the increase to purchased transportation and warehousing costs and accounts payable will be, but said that it isn't expected to affect total cash or operating cash flows.

In lieu of the final results, the company said it would release preliminary figures for the year. Consolidated operating revenue for 2025 is expected to be about $3.7 billion compared with $3.9 billion a year earlier.

FactSet-polled analysts expect $3.67 billion.

Revenue for Hub Group's intermodal and transportation services segment is expected to be about $2.2  billion, compared with analyst expectations of $2.17 billion. The segment's revenue reflects a 1% rise in intermodal volume in the fourth quarter, Hub Group said, with revenue per load unchanged from a year earlier, and a 3% sequential increase in volume.

Dedicated trucking revenue fell in the quarter after the loss of several customer sites earlier in the year, though stronger operations and service helped soften the impact.

For its Logistics segment, operating revenue is expected to be approximately $1.6 billion, largely due to softer fourth quarter demand across business lines, compared with expectations of $1.61 billion.

Capital expenditures for full is estimated to be $45 million.

For the year 2026, the Hub Group estimates revenue of between $3.65 billion to $3.95 billion, with expectations of $3.78 billion falling within the range.

Capital expenditures are expected to come in between $35 million to $45 million.
