ChainCatcher 消息，据 The Block 报道，美国参议员 Cynthia Lummis 在接受采访时呼吁银行业应拥抱稳定币与数字资产，认为这将为传统金融机构带来全新的产品机会。
她指出，稳定币能大幅缩短结算时间与成本，从而显著提升国内与国际交易的效率，银行为此提供托管与支付服务将开辟更多业务可能。Lummis 目前担任参议院数字资产小组委员会主席。
她强调，不理解银行业为何抵制数字资产，这实际上为银行提供了可向客户提供的新金融产品。目前银行与加密货币行业之间在稳定币收益率条款上的分歧，仍然是美国加密货币市场结构法案延迟通过的关键因素。
