Dongfeng Motor's (HKG:0489) production grew 19% to 134,458 units in January from 112,577 units a year prior, according to a Friday Hong Kong bourse filing.
Sales also rose 19% to 138,761 units from 116,790 units in the year-ago period, the automaker said.
The sales volume of DongFeng Automobile (SHA:600006), a unit of the company, jumped 32% to 11,066 units in the month.
