Sibanye Stillwater (SBSW) said Friday it signed a renewable energy power purchase agreement with Etana Energy to supply about 220 megawatts of electricity to its South African operations.

Electricity will be sourced from a portfolio of solar and wind projects for 10 years and delivered through South Africa's national transmission network using wheeling arrangements, the company said.

Renewable energy will be secured on flexible commercial terms, Sibanye Stillwater said.
