Amazon and Biogen Earnings: Still to Watch This Week -- WSJ

Earnings season marches on. Later Thursday, Amazon will round out this week's clutch of earnings from several of the Magnificent Seven tech companies. Biogen results on Friday will add to this week's deluge of pharmaceutical results.

Meanwhile, Friday's jobs report has been postponed due to the partial government shutdown. Here's what to watch for:

Today

-- Earnings (a.m.): ConocoPhillips, Hershey, Intercontinental Exchange, KKR

-- Earnings (p.m.): Amazon.com, Strategy

-- Economic data: U.S. weekly jobless claims

-- Central banks: The Bank of England and European Central Bank are due to announce interest-rate decisions

Tomorrow

-- Earnings (a.m.): Biogen, Carlyle, Philip Morris International

-- Economic data: The University of Michigan's preliminary consumer-sentiment report for February and consumer-credit data. Economists polled by The Wall Street Journal expect a modest decline in the main sentiment reading, to 55.

-- Fed speeches: Vice Chair Philip Jefferson is due to speak on supply-side inflation at noon at the Brookings Institution in Washington.
