Veradermics Surges in Debut

Shares of Veradermics, which is developing drugs for conditions including hair loss, more than doubled in their New York Stock Exchange debut.

Veradermics said Tuesday that its upsized initial public offering of 15.1 million shares priced at $17 each. The stock was recently at $38.02.

Longitude Capital owned about a 17.9% pre-IPO stake. Other top shareholders include SR One, J.W. Childs Associates and Suvretta Capital.
