Sky Metals (ASX:SKY) found prospective quartz‑vein structures following extensional drilling at the Tallebung project in New South Wales, confirming the potential for repetitions of the tin mineralization to the south‑east, according to a Monday filing with the Australian bourse.

Tin‑cassiterite-bearing rock chips collected from newly identified historical workings indicate the presence of new mineralized zones, paving the way for imminent drill testing, the filing said.

Results show that the system is open in multiple directions, showing potential for growth beyond the existing resource footprint, per the filing.

Shares rose 6% in midday trade on Monday and earlier reached their highest since February 2021.
