Shares of Huron Consulting Group fell after the company said it had promoted 43 senior-level leaders across the firm.
The stock was down 7.9%, to $156.25, Monday afternoon. Shares have gained 25% in the past year.
The professional-services firm said the promotions represent the largest promotion class in the Chicago company's history. They include promotions to corporate vice president, managing director, operating managing director and principal.
"The promotions reflect the firm's continued growth and long-term investment in developing talent and leadership," Huron said Monday.
