西南航空(LUV.US)拟全线部署SpaceX星链Wi-Fi 紧跟同业步伐

智通财经APP获悉，美国西南航空(LUV.US)宣布，将快速为旗下客机配备埃隆・马斯克旗下星链的机上Wi‑Fi服务，正式加入大型航司的行列。

该公司周三在声明中表示，计划今年年底前在超300架飞机上部署SpaceX卫星互联网服务，首架搭载星链的航班将于今年夏季投入运营。

此举让西南航空成为最新一家采用星链的航空公司。在高速增长的机上Wi‑Fi市场，SpaceX已迅速抢占份额，合作航司包括法国航空、卡塔尔航空及美联航(UAL.US)等。

长期以来，传统机上Wi‑Fi信号不稳、体验糟糕，饱受乘客诟病。而星链凭借更快、更稳定的连接体验，正受到越来越多航司的青睐。该技术依靠数千颗近地轨道卫星传输数据，相比卫星数量更少、轨道距离更远的传统服务商，网速与稳定性显著提升。

此前，西南航空以免费托运行李、不设固定座位两大特色区别于达美航空(DAL.US)、美国航空(AAL.US)等竞争对手。而如今，公司已开始收取托运行李费，并推出指定座位服务。
