铿腾电子周二推出了一款虚拟人工智能智能体，旨在帮助英伟达等企业加速复杂的计算机芯片设计流程。
铿腾电子销售用于设计包含数百亿晶体管的复杂芯片的核心工具。在这些芯片成为实体硅片之前，工程师需要使用类代码语言来描述电路。
这款新工具解决了行业内的一大瓶颈。芯片设计属于高度劳动密集型工作，成本高昂，工程团队甚至会将多达70%的时间用于编写和测试代码。分析师表示，由人工智能驱动的效率提升，对于美国保持其技术领先优势至关重要。
周二，铿腾电子推出了一款名为ChipStack AI超级智能体的工具。该智能体能够分析芯片设计，构建芯片预期工作方式的“思维模型”，然后调用铿腾的各类工具对设计进行测试并修复漏洞。
铿腾电子研发副总裁兼总经理Paul Cunningham表示：“从现在到本世纪末，我们将实现转型——从一家大家印象中授权销售新工具的公司，转变为一家提供虚拟工程师租赁服务的公司。”
铿腾称，该智能体能将部分任务速度提升10倍，目前已在英伟达、Altera以及芯片初创公司Tenstorrent等企业中进行早期应用。
