Centrus Energy's American Centrifuge Operating Unit Signs Uranium Enrichment Plant Expansion Contract With Fluor

Centrus Energy (LEU) said Wednesday its American Centrifuge Operating unit has signed a contract for Fluor (FLR) to be the engineering, procurement and construction contractor for the expansion of Centrus' uranium enrichment capacity in Piketon, Ohio.
Under the multi-year contract, Fluor will lead the engineering and design, as well as manage the supply chain and procurement of key materials and services, Centrus said. It also said Fluor will oversee construction at the site and support the commissioning of the new capacity.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
Shares of Centrus Energy were down more than 7% pre-bell Wednesday.
