Data-Center Owner Equinix Jumps Premarket on Strong Sales, Guidance -- Market Talk

1054 GMT - Shares in Equinix jump premarket after the owner of U.S. data centers posted record fourth-quarter sales andafter market close. The company guided above expectations for 2026 adjusted funds from operations--a key metric for real estate investment trusts--while forecasting earnings and revenue at the higher end of analyst expectations. Equinix "has built a data center portfolio that will consistently deliver strong levels of organic growth," Jefferies' Jonathan Peterson writes in a research note. The company is well-positioned to benefit from AI-driven demand, the analyst says. Equinix gains 7.8% premarket.(josephmichael.stonor@wsj.com)
